New Jersey help!

    I've got a friend going to Jersey in November. What can I have her pick up for me while she's out there? I know I can get Ithaca, any Heady Topper get there? Thanks guys.

    you wont get any heady topper in Jersey, but we have so much other beer like Flying Fish Exit 16(Fresh), Ballast Point, etc..

    Look for some fresh Sixpoint cans and you can find Founder's in a few of the better bottle shops. No Heady Topper unless you have connections. Go to Oak Tree Liquors for the pimp selections.

    Brooklyn Brewery, Cricket Hill, Flying Fish, River Horse, Victory, Triumph, Iron Hill, Main Beer Co., Troegs etc.

    Tons of good stuff you can get in NJ, sadly Heady Topper isn't one of them.

    Flying Fish Exit 4! It has a cult following (for a reason) in the Mid-Atlantic. Definitely Troegs Mad Elf or whichever of the Weyerbacher seasonals are around too. They make exceptional big beers.

    New Jersey was one of the few states to get Chimay's 150th anniversary beer - Chimay Spéciale Cent Cinquante.

    If she finds any of that left, pounce. I found it very special indeed.

    It's still on plenty of north jersey shelves. I think the price tag kinda scares everyone away.

    She's going to the Tough Mudder competition and staying in the nearby area. Now, I don't know where that is specifically but that's where she'll be. Also, thanks for all the replies.

    Tough Mudder is at Englishtown, only about a 35 minute drive to Kane, where you should stock up on Head High, for sure. Pretty much center of the state, so most of the best of NJ is driveable.

    They said parking is at Freehold Raceway and will shuttle people to and from. She can check out Max's Beer & Liquor (Raintree Plaza)
    Cranbury Buy-rite (about 35min away)
    Or even Joe Canals (a few in the area, but all about 30-60min drive).

    Parking will either be at Monmouth Race Track or PNC Bank Art Center depending on your start time (I'm already furious about this). If she's parking at Monmouth Race Track then she'll be 15 minutes from Kane and 20-25 minutes from Carton.
