New keezer build

    Trying to decide how wide the collar will need to be on my keezer. I know there's a lot of variables but in general what is the minimum vertical distance I will need from the bottom of the freezer to the lid above collar. Taking in account taps, connectors, etc.

    Depends on if you are using a ball lock on a pin lock keg. They both differ in height and width.

    I used cedar 2x4 (3.5"). Plenty of room for my ball lock kegs and a Sankey keg with ball lock connectors. And it slides in comfortably under my standard 42" bar top.
