Not saying where, but a handful of cases of Cantillon just hit one of the better beer stores in SF. Not saying where, because I want them to get consumed by lambic enthusiasts, not traded for King Henry. But check the usual suspects, and you may find what you seek.

I'm not really sure how not saying where really prevents that, since it makes speculators as likely to get them as enthusiasts, but as someone who won't get there no matter what it doesn't really matter to me. Hurray!

This is why you forward the info to your friends / regular trading/sampling buddies first, then post in the fourms....:sunglasses:

Dont expect to walk out with much though.... "Bottles are limited to 1 per person. Just to clarify, not one of each variety, one bottle total."

Last I checked. I got a Vigneronne, mainly because it's the one in this batch I haven't gotten to try before.

Out of curiosity, which ones made it out to SF? Maybe this is the start of the end of the California Cantillon drought? :sunglasses:

Saw the posting. Just sad I can't make it over until much too late to pick up a bottle, I'm sure.

The drought has certainly ended because other markets have received 'loons as well, although in extremely limited quantities. Some made it to Twin Cities and some definitely made to Chicago.

    You guys putting any out?

Also, I'm not sure what people are talking about in terms of a Cantillon drought. Over the past year I've gotten something like a dozen bottles from Bay Area stores. It's not common, obviously, but it's not like there was literally none coming in. You just had to get sort of lucky, I suppose.

Fraggle already taunted us with his big splashy CANTILLON post on FB earlier today.:sunglasses: Sadly, I was stuck elsewhere while the stampede to the coolers commenced.

Cheaper to order it from Belgium and have it shipped.
