Folks, More new beers - new Mad Brewers. Not so keen about the content myself, but what is interesting is one-off brew back in a 300ml bottle. Seems to make it 'less special' somehow to me. http://www.jamessquire.com.au/blog/index.php/2012/06/14/mad-brewers-ginger-chops-ale/ Long live Hoppy Hefe, I say. Be good to get that in the regular range.
Meh! I do love the following though: Sounds like the marketing giuys at Lion Nathan said "Hey guys, we need a ginger beer like everyone else is doing. Dig something out for us."
My favourite part is the 'exciting new 330ml four pack format with 4x4 packs (16x330ml bottles) {for those incapable of maths} per case. My italics. Also, exciting? New? Hasn't Feral and a few others been doing this format for a while? Bitching aside, and I do understand marketing speak is completely diff. from 'the truth', it does look like they have tried to make a 'mature', ie not sickly sweet, ginger beer, which should be applauded. Whether the marketing guys at Lion said they need one or not, if the product is good, we should be happy. The marketing guys at Ferrari said we need a fast, red car once upon a time....
