New Meantime/M&S beer

    Anyone tried it yet? It's a red ale in a 750ml bottle, but at a fiver a pop, I'd rather hear some thoughts before i pull the trigger.

    Weirdly enough I can't find any mention online. It's a red ale and is described as being quite hoppy and is 4%. No idea otherwise. Only found it today.

    Well, if you are hoping for an explosion of rum from in the Wilts Rum beer I would forget it. Not a trace of rum in it whatsoever.

    Nice to know I'm not the only one who stalks the booze corner in M&S waiting for the next release.
    Saw the 750ml £4.99 red ale bottle on the shelves about a week ago and was interested but wasn't tempted.

    I always thought the Adnams made M&S beers (usually Southwold something-or-other) were very good.

    I'll get my mate who works for M&S to pick it up - 25% discount across the board which makes it a bit more palatable at £3.75!
