New Murrays - good stuff....

    They did call it a Pale Ale until now.

    Eastern US style y'reckon... I think you could narrow the classification a lot more:wink:

    Don't know about Eastern or Western or Southern or Northern... It is an IPA inspired by the modern US interpretations but not using US based ingredients. It is also not a 'palate wrecker' by any stretch of the imagination. It is hopped very aggressively late in the process but has no 'standard' bittering addition added early boil. The emphasis is on hop flavour and aroma. It has solid perceived bitterness but is notably different in the mouth to other more 'traditional' IPAs. It also has no richer higher EBC crystal malts added so is paler and leaner than some. It is the same recipe as the draught, the only difference being bottle conditioning. A week out from release we are very happy with it and hope it is well received.

    So no target as to a particular sub style of IPA, just our take on an interesting very hoppy, very moreish pale/IPA.
