Headed to New Orleans. I've heard about NOLA, Crescy City and Courtyard breweries. Any other suggestions? Just want to make sure I make the most of the trip.

Not much huge crazy distro hits Louisiana (former native here) but there are some cool spots in NOLA like Avenue Pub and Steins Deli. I know it's not beer related, but for the love of god go to Acme oyster house and eat the chargrilled oysters.

Dan probably has the good stuff under his counter... Fyi
You have to drop hints on what you like while checking out. But make it quick as food customers can get pissy

I went last to NOLA year, NOLA brewing was pretty cool, bartender was really friendly and gave me a tour of the brewery. I didnt get to the others. I second this ^, the oysters were amazing, I still think about them! Another place I absolutely loved was NOLA smokehouse. Best brisket I've ever had, check out their IG, you'll regret it. Hope you're a big eater, the food in that city is amazing. There's a liquor store in the french quarter where you can grab some solid craft to go. My friends took us to the bulldog, two locations but I can only find the one we went to on Magazine, it had 50 beers on tap, pretty good list along with 100 bottles and chill atmosphere

Avenue Pub and Courtyard Brewery for bars and Steins for bottles is all you need.

    This. Sums it up.
Visit Abita or NOLA Brewing as well.

Courtyard is a must now as well, if they are willing to drive to Abita might as well hit Parish for Ghost

Not much, I mean if you are willing to drive to Abita, I would much rather drive through BR and hit up Parish over Abita

NOLA was awesome. Great beers and the Pie Guy was there. And Marshall, we did make it to ACME. The oysters were awesome and the crawfish etouffee was great. Crescent City had some good food and the beers were solid, but they tend to keep to traditional European styles, but they do a great job.

Thank you for all of the recommendations. I hope to make it back there again.

heading to NOLA after xmas with the family. Are bulldog and/or avenue pub kid friendly? Beers aside, does either have good food? Any recommendations for great food spots that at least have a decent tap list? Thanks in advance for any insight.
