To clarify the C&C line has been ordered...not delivered nor installed. Regardless it's in the works. And distilling.

And hidden in all of this is the launch of 22's. I lost the collateral but one of the 3 will be an stout...as I understood it a recreation of their 15th anniversary. So besides being f-ing awesome it means MVXV should return at some point

Went to the Mysterium Verum tapping last night. Brad, Erik, Bailey and most of the Real Ale people were cool. Super cool people. Looks like they're thinking about bottling the MV series but it'd most likely cost north of $15 if they did. Scots Gone Wild is just amazing!

A 750 of a solid sour for $15-$18 is fine by me. Especially if it's as good as everyone is saying.

One of the best sours I've ever had. Usually not a fan of expensive bombers but would easily pay $15-$20 for Scots Gone Wild in a heart beat. Morgul is nice and smooth but not mind blowing. Devil's Share had some interesting flavors too, definitely get the red wine barrel along with dill pickle lol.

I had Codex Triplex and Vol XVII. Both were incredible.

MV is hit or miss for me, but not all of the beers in the series are sour, just barrel aged. I definitely welcome the arrival in bottles though.

I'd have absolutely no problem paying $20 for a C&C bomber of Scots, Benedictum, Highlander, Kraken..... need i continue?

Does Real Ale ever do anything wrong?

    [Hint: No]

New packaging and website are slick! Love that hop chain ring logo on the new tap handles

Based on the TABC approval, the ABV on 4 Squared has been upped from 5.6% (currently on their website) to 7% so it must have gone through a recipe change as well. Interesting that their Pale Ale will be a higher ABV than their IPA.

I guess doing GBH has it perks  RA reached out to me a few days ago and I spoke with their Marketing Manager yesterday. They got some great things in the works in addition to their new logo, designs, bombers etc. Lots still under wraps but what's already been released:
    • the RIS bomber, Commisar, is 15th Anny
    • the red ale bomber, Red King, is Brewer's Cut 004 imperial red ale
    • Full Moon is now a Rye IPA
    • Tenebrae Aeterna is the newest Mysterium Verum (brown sour)
    • The next Anny beer, 19th is the Baltic Porter, and it comes out at their Anniversary Party in April with 50 other beers on tap
Also, thanks to @aschwab consistent posting of TABC's approvals...its therefore public that the Gose will be in cans and Kriek is coming out soon....she said they're doing their best to tell the market not to a expect sour beer.

I had no clue about Commisar and Red King but am pumped to get those in my fridge.

From the label: "Fruits have long been incorporated in the brewing of beer, particularly in Belgium. The brewing traditions of this stylistically prolific nation are the inspiration for Brewers’ Cut Kriek, a Belgian-style Brown Ale of subtle caramel and dark malt character aged with tart cherries from the Willamette Valley. The beer finishes clean and dry, with a hint of cherry pie enticing you back for more."

I'm confused. Is marketing telling us not to expect a sour beer because the Kriek and gose aren't sour? Or because they want it to be a surprise?

I revisited some fresh Lost Gold last year, and I was presently surprised. Malt and hop flavors were so clean.
