New Sculpin labeling

They just started distributing the new labels over the summer. I feel like Sculpin was last in the Ballast Point line, although I found it in cans in the new label way before I found it in bottles in the new label.

 

13210 is the bottle date (julian). I believe they used to have an Enjoy by date but now use bottle date. 13210 = July 29th

 

If you happen to get Sculpin cans, there should be a white sticker on the bottom of the cardboard box with the same julian date format.

 

Different labels.. Still an overpriced beer.

 

How much in your area? 6 packs in MA are $12 which I think is very reasonable.

 

In Florida, it's $15 for a sixer.

 

It's 13 to 16 most places. Even in San Diego I've seen it for $15.

 

Sculpin is amazing when I drink/ buy it in San Diego, but buying where I live in coachella valley which is two hour drive away, the awesomeness of the beer just goes down instantly , would hate to see how it tastes in florida

 

Where are you finding $12 six packs in MA?

 

How does 13210 = July 29? If you add the digits it = 7 = July? Where does the 29th come from? Thanks.

 

13 = the year
210 = 210th day of the year = 29 July 2013

Found sculpin 6 packs for $14 on Cape Cod, still worth it!

 

It depends how fresh it is. I've been able to get it a couple times within two weeks after bottling, and it was great.

 

Thats damn impressive to find bottles that fresh all the way across the country. Given the fact Jai Alai is usually about 11 bucks a sixer, 15 for a beer all the way from San Diego is more than fair imo (not that you complained about the price, just saying).

Was just gonna say. In the rare instance I find it in 6 packs its usually $14-$15
