BPT- Uh ya Pat I just Got your email that says we can only sell your Super special beer to people living within 19 miles of the brewery. The internet doesn't really work like that.

Pat - What do you mean? I thought people came to your office and you guys just took their 12 dollars and handed them a Brown Paper Ticket? You guys have a fold up map right? Just look at the little thing in the corner that says how many inches the map is per mile and draw a circle.

BPT- No sir. People order it on the computer and then come pick it up at the brewery within a certain time frame. That way there is not a big line of people on a 95 degree Alpine day standing in the sun trying to decide if they should get a haircut while they wait.

Pat- I've already made our Webcam so that people can see what beer we are selling at the brewery. That's enough technology for 2014

Where do all these BS rumors come from? Are people being serious when they "confirm" it will be sold via BPT? Conversely, where did you get your "info" that it's not BPT? This isn't the FDA approving suspect pharmaceuticals for use, I think it's okay to share sources...

Just saying man, it seems like everyone is so quick to defend and stand up for a brewer who clearly does some things wrong. It is ok to disagree with things that don't make sense. It doesn't mean you can't buy or drink Alpines beer. I can't stand some if the choices the brewer makes and still drink and buy his beer. Even after hearing yet another crazy story about his rudeness on here I am still going to in the future. Maybe we should meet up at Alpine and have a pint. Just don't tell the owner my words because he may get so offended he never let's anyone who is on beer advocate in his brewery again.

I get what you mean though, some decisions they make do suck. Hopefully, if they ever expand, some of these rules will change for the better.

How long does it usually last (bottles) in those conditions?

 

Without much of any heads up? I think that when it's that condition, it last about two days.

Still, fuck going there and having to wait just as long as the drive down there for that slow ass line to move. It's like they enjoy taking 5 minutes each order.
