Looks to me they are mailing you the ticket.

Don't know why they would go to the trouble/expense of mailing a ticket when, like AleSmith, you can just show your printed receipt.

They updated on fb and said just print your bpt confirmation.

You don't need a printed receipt at Alesmith; having the email receipt on your smart phone is sufficient.

I imagine when the dust settles they'll clarify receipts are acceptable. At least I hope so. Plus, it seems like a lot of work for Alpine to mail out a bunch of tickets.

Somebody probably hit the wrong button when setting up the BPT sale. Nobody should be surprised.

BPT will send you actual tickets via the mail. But print out the order confirmation to be safe.

    Cheers……...

Does anyone know if you can only pickup the bpt order during brewery hours?

Says it right there on the page:

Bottles may be retrieved during regular brewery hours.

Bottles may be picked up at the pub only when the brewery is closed.

I'm shocked at how long it took for them to sell out. I ended up buying two bottles only for that reason. I don't get why people form these 2-hour long lines to get bottles, but when offered an option that gives a 3-week window to pick them up they don't bite on it.

I was surprised too. When I signed onto Facebook, I saw Alpine's post was two hours old and thought I didn't have a chance. I'm not complaining though

Think about it……..you know the answer, we all do. And BTW, I am so glad they used BPT this time as I am one of those that benefited from it.

    Cheers,

Completely missing on the reason. There was a bottle limit either way. I'm not sure why anybody that would take a half of a day to wait in line wouldn't be able to buy a few bottles and show up at their leisure.

Most will call them mules. But it's more like... super beer geek goes and brings his girlfriend and a couple of buddies who are into craft beer casually and want to have fun at a brewery release.
The only person of those 4 that will order online is the super beer geek.

    That makes sense.
