New spots in the Hudson valley

    Just wondering if anyone has had any experience or thoughts about two intriguing new spots I hope to visit or sample from shortly: mill house in Poughkeepsie and plan bee farm brewery in Brewster. I see their Facebook posts and a few scant reviews here. Anyone been? I've heard mill
    House has great food, how's the beer?

    Also anyone know about the beer diviner? That's a little further afield for me but I imagine I'll get over there at some point.

    Plan bee looks to have some interesting stuff bottles; anyone here actually drank any of it?

    Brrewmasters Jamie and Larry are good friends of mine at Mill House. Very talented, and brewing on a beautiful PKW system. Beers are stellar. The food is also beyond amazing. And the ambiance is the best of any brewpub I have enjoyed, warm and inviting.

    Beer Diviner is on my "wanna try" list.

    Really been wanting to make it up to Mill House, but it requires passing by Peekskill, which is a major impediment. Perhaps the next weekend we have decent weather.

    Thanks for the post I wouldn't have known about Mill House but it's on my radar now. Does anybody know if Bull and Barrel in Brewster, NY is open yet?
    On another note not really Hudson Valley but a World of Beer is going to be opening in Crossgates Mall just outside of Albany. It's a chain establishment which I try to avoid but I'll give it a try. Cheers

    I can't say for certain but all Internet evidence seems to indicate bull and barrel has not yet opened. Found an article that mentions a soft opening in January but nothing more definitive than that.
