New Third Rail beers: Skyland, Born & Brett

    Hi all,

    @LarryK from Third Rail here. Figured it was finally time to create an official brewery handle. Anyway, I wanted to share the latest on a couple of new beers we've got coming out next month:

    - Skyland, an IPA brewed with Dr. Rudi, Vic Secret and Wakatu hops and a paler malt base than Bodega and Innate. Draft-only, should be hitting taplines after the first week of September.

    - Born & Brett, a Farmhouse Ale with Brett aged for 10 months in a pair of oak Chardonnay barrels from Long Island winery Paumanok Vineyards. The younger barrel is giving off a lot of oaky, Chardonnay flavors and the other barrel is really letting the Brett shine through. We’ll be blending both barrels into kegs for a draft-only release.

    We're celebrating our first year in the business at Pine Box Rock Shop on Saturday, September 19, starting at 6pm. Born & Brett will make its official NYC debut that evening, alongside Skyland and most of the rest of our portfolio. Hope to see you all there!
