    ...from face book post...

It is with great pride and humble excitement that I present to you the next chapter in the life of Tired Hands. Located at 35 Cricket Terrace in our fair town of Ardmore, this beautiful building will serve as our production facility (capable of producing up to 10,000 barrels of our Strange & Beautiful beer per year) as well as a secondary brewcafé (focusing on a very different culinary theme than our existing café). Both establishments will offer wildly different draft offerings as well (we will soon have room for hundreds of oak barrels).

While we don't have a proper name for our new facility just yet, we are all unbelievably excited to increase our contribution to the blossoming Philadelphia brewing scene.

Thank you all for your love and support throughout the past (almost) two years of operations. Stick with us... We are just getting started

Given the plan to have different tap lists, it looks like I'll frequently be doing the tired hands bar crawl between both facilities.

What? You mean 'The old Ardmore one-two?'

That already exists. You pick up a Tired Hands growler and tote it over to Barbacoa to enjoy with dinner. The "one-two-three" is when you return to Tired Hands after dinner to drink and buy more growler fills. I think the "one-two-three-four" will be the next thing.

Of course, I would never discourage anyone from eating at Tired Hands, but the barbecue at Barbacoa is pretty fantastic.

Oh so very hyped for this. Room for hundreds of oak barrels? New culinary theme? Different taps? Yes please. And I'll also have to check out this Barbacoa @kdb150 is talking about, as I do loves me some BBQ! It's within walking distance?

Yep, definitely within walking distance. My wife and I stumbled upon it when walking around Ardmore looking for a place to eat. From Tired Hands, just walk down Athens Ave. a few blocks to Rittenhouse and make a left, it's right there. BYOB and great barbecue. Can't beat it. Get a reservation though, they told us we were very lucky to get a table without one.

Seeing as how you're from California, and have zero reviews of Tired Hands beers, are you sure we're talking about the same Barbacoa?

Yes. I've been in Bryn Mawr for close to a year.

Here's a recent picture of TH new location I took two weeks ago.

Is there anywhere to stay within walking distance? In the early days of TH I had family nearby but no longer. would love to be able to imbibe freely without having to worry about driving.

To be more specific I know I can take the train to another town and a nearby hotel but staying somewhere in Ardmore in the neighborhood would be awesome. Alternately is there somewhere within a reasonable Uber ride? My entire life I had family nearby and now I have no one there - it's a left a big hole in my life, not to mention my ability to make the Philly and burbs beer scene! Miss it so much.:slight_frown:
