Hello, I tried to fill three bottles with my bottling wand and pin lock keg setup,,, foam everywhere and the bottles are not really full, will this be a problem? Can they sit for a awhile or should I drink them and try again?

Can't you combine one of the bottles into the other two to fill them up?

I capped them, I suppose I should have mentioned that part.

Unfilled bottles put greater pressure per sq. inch (or whatever) on the glass and can explode if over carbonated. I wouldn't chance it, chill them and drink them now. If they need to bottle condition you could uncap them, flame the top, and top off two hoping that the oxidation from the transfer won't be that bad.

To bottle from the keg, you need to get the bottles cold and turn the pressure down, or even off, and let the pressure in the keg headspace push the beer out. Even then, it can still be messy.

    Thanks
I did end up turning it off, and it was just foam,, then the diameter of the bottling wand displaced too much volume, so when I withdrew it from the bottle, the level dropped, I'll try again with a smaller wand

You need to drop the pressure in the keg to like 3 psi before filling (and bleed off the extra pressure in the keg). This is the only way to not fill with all foam. You do it right before filling and then put the pressure back up if you did not empty the keg. Chilling the bottles with also help.

The keg is chilled right? Like in a kegerator, or fridge.

Thank you,, looks like I just need to take the foot valve off the end. Seems like that was my main problem
