    Hey guys,

I just moved to Dayton, Ohio and I'm wondering what the best breweries/beer shops are. I really want to try some good local breweries and have no idea where to start and also looking for a great beer store to pick up bottles/cans.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

For retailers my favorite is Belmont Party Supply.

I'll let someone else answer your question about breweries. I haven't been very impressed by any of the new Dayton breweries.

Agree with Belmont. You may also want to check out Ollie's place in Centerville.

As far as breweries go my faves are Warped Wing, Fifth Street and yellow springs.

There's also a nice bottle shop within walking distance from WW called barrel house. So you can kill two birds with one stone.

Ollie's has 1/2 price beer on Sunday (not tasters, howlers or growlers though). 61 taps.

For local breweries try Warped Wing, Toxic Brewing & Yellow Springs. Eudora is hidden gem.
Dayton Beer Company's downtown location has 36 taps - all Ohio beers.

Like Ollie's on Facebook as well. They just had Ken Schramm there last week!
