Hi All! I'm from Long Island New York! Just recently I picked up a summit kegerator for $150. It's about 15 years old however it still gets cold. It was originally a 1 tap tower that I converted into a 2 tap system. Unfortunately, I'm having a problem with foam that hopefully you guys could help me out with, it's in the beer talk thread with the title of Foam.

** It's in 'Home Bar' instead title is still 'Foam'.
    Thanks,

There are some very helpful people in the Home Bar forum, but they don't necessarily check in every day. Stay loose, you'll get your problem solved.

Welcome to the BA site. Hang around the site as much as you'd like, and explore the place to discover all of the great features.

Longer lines, smaller interior diameter of the lines (ID), and a colder temperature will reduce foam. If you enjoy drinking darker beers which usually results in a slightly warmer temperature, you will usually want a longer line.

I personally prefer EVABarrier Double Wall Draft Tubing - 4mm ID x 8mm OD. It is a bit more rigid but so far it has been the only draft tubing that hasn't left some kind of aftertaste. It is also very easy to clean.

I bought DuoTight fittings for this line as well so it's probably not a simple swap in swap out replacement.
