New to Ohio (2015)

Yeah, I seem to remember we saw it about a month after packaging last year.

Store had 4 cases I think? I bought a 4-pk, no limit stated. I think I bought 4-pks last year too. Looking forward to trying Hop Stalker.

 

Today. Released today at Fat Heads.

 

I will be passing through columbus late november, thinking the weekend of the 21st, I am looking to try some of HH's stuff. What stores should I be looking into, or is it best to just stop by HH on the drive home Sunday?

 

Anyone know of any kegs of Columbus Yakima Fresh Hop on in C Bus today, other than Local Roots and Barrel and Bottle?

@Ruesta, Blabe will definitely be gone by then, but there'll be a recent release around then. Stores like Kenny Market or Andersons tends to have them for quite a while, other than Blabe.

 

@LCC Thanks, I am mainly looking for Mom Jeans, Permafrost, and Voltan but excited to try a couple of their other items, do they not sell out of their own location?

 

You will not be finding any of those in cans, as they haven't been canned.

They only have (usually) one canned item available at a canning release and the rest are on-draft only. The last three have been Musk, South of Eleven and Konkey Dong.

 

Ahh, unfortunate, I guess that makes stopping in my best bet.

Think I am going to use my birthday as an excuse to finally check out Fat Heads next Fri. Want to get some Hop Stalker and Fro bottles too. Carry out at the retail shop where the tap room is?

Also, I see Head Shrinker and Jungle Juiced on now. Chances of being around 10 days from now?

 

I don't recall them selling any. I filled one of my Jackie O's howlers once. I wouldn't expect Blabe to be an option, but honestly, I didn't even ask about South the other day, so not sure.

Head Shrinker has been there for a while now and Jungle Juiced as well... Hard to say if it will still be there to be honest, depends how much they made (which is typically a lot), but it depends. They had Smoke N' Burn (the FH and Founders collaboration) for months which surprised me... Happy they did though, I loved it...

 

I keep clicking the 'New to Ohio' thread, but I some how keep getting redirected to this 'Hoof Hearted' thread... jk

 

In non- Hoof Hearted news, I read this article about a 50W 1.5 million expansion. Hope to see their beers make it up north.

Pumking 4 packs have made their way to central OH as well

 

Without getting your hopes up, Hoof Hearted is currently open, at most, once a week on Sunday from noon to 5pm. They do not currently have their own growlers, but will happily fill anything you bring.
