New to Ohio (2016)

Hawaiian Speedway just blew on Monday night and quickly replaced with Maine Brewing Co. Lunch at Barr's Public House in Maumee, OH.

 

Ah, that explains why I only saw your beer there before the releases and the production started.

 

Anderson's on Brice had Bene Gene for sure the other day when I was there.

 

I will never understand these 5 pm tappings for beer that will last ~two weeks. I was going to head up today, but can't sit around that long; guess it will be tomorrow or Friday.

For those interested, they have 36 kegs. 12 kegs going to each location. Maybe a few going to other markets or stores, not sure.

That Floyds amber was pretty awesome, reminded me of Nugget Nectar but not as potent. Speaking of, isnt NN Jan release along with Hopslam?

Unfortunately it's 4 pm or bust for me during the week, but I'm thinking this will be around next week and probably beyond that. But I may be wrong considering how many people are going to fill growlers(me included).

 

Speaking of Fat Heads, how is Trail Head tasting in bottles? Happy to see distro finally hitting Cbus.

Not sure why they would bottle something that was canned before, I wish they canned everything.

They don't own a can line... Wish they would purchase one! That said... Really nice that Trail-head is here in January!! I'll take it.

 

So they can scale down from a 16 oz can to a 12 oz bottle and still charge the same amount for a four pack (ahem, hop stalker)?

 

Trailhead was in 12 oz cans.

 

I know, the hop stalker switch just annoyed me is all.

 

And the bottles are in sixers, as were the cans

 

Gotcha. Annoyed me as well - more from a convenience perspective than cost. That beer is so damn good I'd pay 50% more.
