New to Ohio (2016)

Yep, Aficionado's in Columbus received it today. They received huma lupa and the controversial ALE.

 

Belemonts had 6 or 7 shorts beers come in today haven't had anything from them that warrantied a second try but excited to.give shorts another try with beers from them I haven't had

 

As long as I NEVER, EVER, EVER have to see/smell/taste Bloody Beer, I'll be alright.

 

I like your optimism but tough to see a big 2016. Bodhi isn't going to show up in bottles until at least July/August per CBC. No idea when this or Creeper will make it.

 

Sounds nasty as fuck.

When Fat Head's has consistently better beers than 3 Floyds in general I'll pass on a tap takeover. Would rather have IBUsive, Head Shrinker, Hop JuJu, Hop Stalker, etc. over almost any 3 Floyds offering.

 

Place was crazy and easily the largest crowd I've ever seen there from my trips. Granted I don't often go to the tap house. Most of the good stuff seemed to last two hours tops if that. They had maybe three or four left around 7:15.

 

I agree with this completely. The Three Floyds stuff just does not impress me much at all anymore. I like their stuff, but Fat Heads does nearly every comparable style better.

 

Could not agree more.

Anyone know if enough of the 3F kicked for this to happen? Seemed like there was enough people there. I missed this post, called about super juicy, they said they had it then I got there with the 3F craziness and no super juicy and walked out. SADZZZZZZ

 

We showed up, had one beer and left due to the insane crowd. Cleveland loves FFF more than almost any other brewery I do not get it.

 

Well, to be fair phanner, if a brewery opening up a new production facility and bottling all their beer isn't a "big year" for them....I'm not sure what is. Should they build a rocket to the moon? I think I understand what you're saying, but 2016 is the culmination of years of work from the CBC team and comments like that just kind of irk me. Maybe some don't know just how small of an operation CBC is (or used to be). My 2 cents. And cheers.

 

This. 2016 is a massive year for these guys. Years of work, anticipation, and stress are all coming to fruition.
