New to Ohio (2016)

Could be a mistake on that particular price, but in other markets NB LOF series bottled beers are around that $8.99 mark. They screw OH on the bottle prices, yet the drafts are like $4-5 a pint. I've stopped buying the LOF bottles all together but will try a draft if I see it. Really no point in dropping cash on the bottles. My 2 cents.

 

According to a very reliable source that ABV law gets voted on TODAY in the House. Look for it to pass with NO ABV cap and NO restrictions.

 

It's already here. I bought some on the west side of Cincy last week.

If completely passed, when does it go into effect? Immediately?

 

I would guess it still needs John Kasich's signature.

 

I think last step is that the governor has to sign off but I could be wrong.

 

Typically just needs the Gov's John Hancock to enact. Just make sure he signs it before Black Friday!!

 

Once governor signs off is there a waiting period before it kicks in or would it be immediate?
