Haha, thanks for the inclusion, but we still have room to expand the brewery at our current location. Not Wolf's Ridge this time.

Awesome thanks! Drove through Granville when I was out there and it reminded me of a tiny version of home haha. I'll have to stop at all the breweries in the county.

Thanks! Have you tried the new FH RIS? Might stop up if its not crowded. Only negative about that place is competing for a spot at the bar.

Half of the bar seats are open. Should be easy. The one beertender didn't even know it was tapped, he poured the wife and I each a pint!

Yeah big thanks to @Elkevjoe for the info or else I probably would have stayed home. We got up there around 8:00 sat right down at the bar just in time for the tribe game and had two pours of Nutsmasher. No doubt the two easiest pours I've ever ordered. They had a pretty good draft list even outside of Nutsmasher too. I really enjoyed the citra hop wheat ale and the summer saison FH had on tap. They also have a new imperial stout but it was a bit sweet for my tastes and they had a new dunkel on tap too. Some good beers out of Columbus on the guest taps as well (Thunderlips and North High Pale).

Also, if at first you don't succeed...please for the love of GOD stop trying to age an already horrible beer Great Lakes. Last year was a sign. Baby Jesus thinks your BA game is weak.

That Hoppin Frog beer will probably probe new price limits as well.

And for what it's worth, I still like Christmas Ale well enough. Not a fan of the barrel aging, though.

Might pick this up just cuz it's 13% haven't brought HF in a long time mainly due to the point miketd stated, if they did 12oz bottles and priced them like founders I'd buy a lot more hf

I wouldn't and haven't trashed any local brewery. I may not personally like the barrel treatment (and this goes for most any beer), but I don't go out of my way to dissuade people from enjoying any local brewery, or anything else for that matter, especially based on unfounded information. The same can't be said for certain others. Can we not stay positive here?

Right. Just put 'IMO' in front of everything and you're immune. I keep forgetting.

Can you please list the rules so we know what we are and are not allowed to talk about in this sacred Internet forum. I really don't see a problem with people speaking their minds and sharing their past experiences. Hopping frog has burned some folks in the past with business practices and that plays into where people want to spend their money. Their beer is 100% legit and delicious but so are many others so other factors come into play. I don't think editing those opinions is fair either way.

I also like a good natured debate! So long as its not just bashing or straight trolling. Save the name calling and juvenille behavior and you can actually learn a thing or two during these debates. Love them!

How do you figure that Dark App is more per oz? Last I checked, DA was 5.99 for a 16.9oz bottle, where Boris was 8.99+ for a bomber. That works out to 35 cents an ounce for the DA, and 41 cents an ounce for the Boris.

Or do you have new pricing for them?
