New to Ohio (2017)

Yes! I loved those cans. Glad to have it in any format, but I was very partial to the tall boys. I would love to see those brought back, but not counting on it.

I have no shame in admitting it...I am still a sucker for those two beers. I love anything citrus so they hit the spot for cheap, hot weather drinking. I don't indulge in them quite as often as I did before getting swept up by the whole craft revolution my life has undertaken, but I have no problem killing off can after can of these while the elitist nerds tell me why I shouldn't enjoy them. Drink what you like and f*ck what everyone else thinks is my creed.

Seeing the dogfish/stone/victory saison du buff popping up at $50 for a 1.5L and have to laugh. Maybe I'm the odd one out but in the past that beer has been awful, who would actually buy it at that price/size??!

 

Someone with a LOT of chicken to marinate.

 

I saw the Stone/Maui collaboration in that size too. Love Stone, but skipping that.

 

I always loved Saison du BUFF but am definitely the odd man out. I'd buy it at half that price, but making it imperial isn't helping things imo. Amazing beer to pair with food.

 

You aren't the only one. I always thought it'd make for a good pairing with Thanksgiving turkey.

I'm glad they decided not to release it. Looks like they learned from their mistakenly described "Juicy Double IPA" Baby Got Blanc.

 

I stubbornly refuse to buy anything labeled "new england style IPA" or billed as "hazy"

Results of those types of beers have been unimpressive for the most part.

I believe I was told the new facility, once built, will have both canning and bottling lines. Imagine Head Hunter in cans full-time... Oh yeahhhh!

 

This has been on the shelf for 3+ months just over the line in PA

 

but the real question is does it taste good?
