Now I finally understand how NEIPAs got propelled into the stratosphere.

I think this is what happens when people attempt to place certain beers into a preconceived "style" category. Some beers just don't fit with any category, and sometimes when we drink a beer like this, we logically contrast it with other beers with the same style label. This is where subjugating beer by style is definitely a bad thing.

Anyone know if this was a one-time release or can we expect to see more deliveries? Missed it last month and want to give it a try.

It just hit stores a couple weeks ago. Where are you located?

I think Tony said on FB that they're doing another batch late summer or fall, but I'm unsure if that's mosaic or another hop.

West or south Cleveland suburbs. Interested in the mosaic version, but will accept whatever they use in the fall.

We'll bottle Vol 1 a few more times. Packaging about 1200 cases worth today, as a matter of fact. The idea for these was never to be a one time drop, but moreso brewing what's needed to fill a 90 day window or so and then moving on to the next one. Release date for Vol 2 has not been 100% set yet, but expect it in late August.

The California Shandy is stupid. It might be divisive amongst the beer geek crew, but damned if it doesn't taste exactly like an iced California out of a styrofoam cup at Swenson's. Drive-in addicts that don't give af about beer are gobbling this stuff up, I know multiple people that went for a second trip already to ACMEs that only have a case or less left. It's an experience, not sure how I'm going to rate it yet, but never had a beer like it.

I was reading that yesterday and was excited to see the crowlers since they refuse to fill howlers. I just hope that they don’t skip over packaging some more of their beers in favor of expanding distro

Taphouse always filled half growlers. North Olmstead doesn't, not sure about Canton. I got 32oz growlers filled often, though.

And according to Matt, expect a lot more bottle/canned offerings (Goggle Fogger and Bean Me Up were hinted heavily). Distro really isn't growling much, mainly to serve existing markets better primarily and some minor expansion as they add capacity.

I feel like Fat Heads (up until this point) has the most under utilized distro lineup of any local place. Sure, logistics play a roll. I feel like if they hired me to do their year round/season/specialty lineup... oh baby! I feel like I could do some serious work! Maybe that will change with the new place.

I really hope they can or bottle Alpenglow at some point, I really love that beer. Also, I see Canton has a NEIPA on tap right now. I wonder if it’s like a Portland situation, where they are totally separate and have free reign, or if Matt Cole signed off on this one.

I saw Matt say in a FB group a few months back not to expect Alpenglow to be packaged anytime soon. That bums me out as well. Would love to be able to get off the shelf

Given FH's new brewing system allows for all the proper procedures for NE style IPA's, there is no doubt they are coming at the main location.
