Does anyone have any idea when Yakima Fresh Hop comes out? I'm going to buy at least 5 packs of it this year.

I don't think it's ever too late to expand. Rick and company produce some solid beers not named Nutsmasher. And since Buckeye already has a bottling line and likely have room for canning, it would be nice to finally see another well-established brewpub on local shelves. Good for them, good for CLE craft beer scene and so on.

So a new brewery gets opened and they make Hop Stalker draft-only...

I'm just hoping Masthead cans Wet Work this year. IMO that whooped Hop Stalker and Yakima and is probably my favorite IPA I've had from them.

Wow that sucks that Hop Stalker isn't going to be released to distro. I always look forward to Hop Stalker every year....

I guess I'll be having more Jackie O's See Foam throughout October....

Not sure where they have room for it because their tap list online only shows 4 beers at the new location. Anyone know if that is correct?
Well, I mis those 16oz cans from the first release, but this is extremely disappointing. I was hoping they were going to start bottling more stuff, not less.

I think they have 7 or 8 on draft now, but it’s still somewhat frustrating. I think the MH location management is lacking, in both the old and new place.

So they had 16oz cans (great) then 12oz bottles (less great) and now it isn’t being bottled at all. The trajectory isn’t very good. In a few years time it’ll be a milkshake ipa or it won’t even exist at all.

Yeah, that’s pretty shitty news from my favorite OH brewery. Picked up a case last year...great beer.

Maybe they just had issues getting a good quantity of fresh hops during all the commotion of building the new spot...?

Either way it's a pretty noteworthy release to not bring to distribution. I'd say it's probably their 2nd best IPA next to Hop Juju.

I seriously doubt they had problems getting hops, they have solid contracts. More likely it’s just bad timing as they work out the problems.

They spent a fourtune on this new place and they rushed the opening to get some cash flow. That is only my theory, but it could be reality

I don't know Fat Head's practices, but don't breweries usually prefer to visit in person and hand select crops for fresh hop beers? That's mainly where I was going with that. Either way, it definitely does seem like they rushed the opening as far as beer availability goes.

Yes, and they go out to Oregon several times a year. They get primo hops, no question
