Anybody know if CBC Lucy is still in rotation for sporadic releases? Someone at my work was asking about it and I couldn’t pin point the last time I saw it. @tcorder219?

 

I'd really like to squeeze it in. I love that beer. But it's a production/yeast nightmare and we just don't have the time or space right now. Sorry, that's the best answer I have.

So, no Cantillon Day at Lizard this year, but they'll be present at Brewzilla??? That's quite a change up...

They’re doing the same Cantillon day as always at lakewood lizard to kick off CBW. Also Classic Gueuze at Brewzilla VIP.

 

Good to know. Would that be 10/12 then? I've scoured the CBW calendar and Lizard events and didn't see it yet. Lizard events page seems to be on the fritz.

 

Fat Head’s brewed a Hazy on the pilot system in the new brewery today, so that whole argument is over. Looking forward to trying Matt’s take on it!!

 

Yep. Beer is called Clickbait IPA and Matt brewed it! Used Vittles? hops.

Just picked up Better Half and Harvest Ale 4 packs today.

 

If memory serves, I think the ones done in N.O. were more along the lines of unfiltered west coast ipa's and not true NEIPA's. Also, I think Canton did the first one they legitimately pushed as a NEIPA earlier this year. That one was solely the creation of the Canton brewers.

 

I had that one at the Canton location a couple months ago. Can’t remember thr name. It was definitely was NE style because I thought it was chalky and awful. Although it was decent for the newer versions. Especially compared to others. Smelled good, but I didn’t finish the sample size though. @SomethingClever , you recall?
