Yep, next week it's released at the Tap House and the week after 6-packs of Jack Straw are going to be released.

Thanks for the offer. I got a 4 pack of each. Just surprised they actually had any. I do have some other stuff we need to crack open though before it gets old!

Anyone seen Sucks 6 packs in central Ohio yet?

Also, I stopped by Brews in Granville last night and had a Revolution Galaxy Hero. Reminds me of Jai Alai quite a bit. Very juicy and sweet. Not very hoppy at all though.

So the Stone folks talking up Columbus to BrewDog seems to have worked...

"We are also delighted to announce that we are in advance discussions for a site in Columbus, Ohio that would house our USA production brewery. We will hopefully be able to provide you all with more of an update on this as soon as we can. In the meantime, we will continue to work hard to make this plan a reality!"

Have we lost faith that the 12% ABV cap will be raised?

I think we have confirmation that the 12% ABV cap won't prevent a brewery from building a new location the state.

Yeah, we can probably be confident that they won't be brewing their 'The End of History' here, but apparently they have a fantastic lineup of Imperial Stouts!!

    Fingers crossed this goes through.

I guess I'm more upset that we (our Ohio Gov.) are more concerned about allowing people to take their drinks out of the bar to the street than raising the ABV. I wish I could say that big beer wasn't behind keeping the 12% law in tact, but we all know they are.

I was just reading this too. Haven't tried any of their beers yet, but I enjoy the show. Love to see the bars and breweries around the country. Anyone have a recommendation for what to try first?

    A little more info here:

Also on the agenda is the development of a brewery in the US, with Mr Watt revealing that he hopes to agree terms on a site in Columbus, Ohio, as early as next week. The city has been chosen because nearly half the population of the US is based within 500 miles of Columbus. Mr Watt noted that cities such as New York, Chicago and Boston were within easy reach

Looking for Millersburg cans and Rhinegeist Truth cans in and around the Akron area. Has anyone seen it?

Havent been that way for awhile, but Rhinegeist is just now into Columbus area. Doubt you will see any up there. Millersburg should be around. All of the Buehlers I have been in have some. Think French Ridge is the only other option besides Lot 21 so far. @bman13 might be able to tell you if thereis any in Canton area recently.

That's crazy. I just happened to have PTO and saw the message a few hours late. I also suffered the same fate after making the 30 minute or so drive. If I would have gotten one too, I would have totally been up for a mini-bottle share with some BA's around Cincy since I as well have never tried any and would like for at least a few of us to try er out...

Same. I can only hope those who picked up bottles will be sharing the love rather than selling/trading away.

Madtree Citra High being released this Thursday at noon in the taproom (I assume distribution will follow just like with Galaxy High). I did not have a chance to try this on tap so I will most likely be picking up a 4 pack:

I think I'm going to go to check it out after work. They wouldn't sell out before the day is done right? I hope not. I haven't tried this either and figured I would check out the taproom while I pick up a pack or two. I definitely need to get a snifter too. Those MadTree snifters are so nice looking. They look great.

I highly doubt they'd sell out. If they do, you can get that snifter and find in stores the following week.
