I don't know what the deal is considering several kegs made it in, but I just traded with a friend for it so I don't have to put up with this bullshit. Too bad because I love Lagunitas and was expecting bottles here.

I would guess this is true. On their website it says "ridiculously limited". I was not expecting to see it, like Born Yesterday.

"Up until this brew, none of Lagunitas’ barrel-aged adventures ever made it to shelves.
They’ve been super-limited draft-only releases. This time we’ve made enough to actually bottle some …"

Bit of longshot, but anyone know where there is Citra High in the Greater Dayton area? Cant get up here in CLE, have family in Dayton, but dont want to send them on a wild goose chase.

Also - if anyone gets some and would want to do an IP trade, I'll be swinging through Cbus/Dayton/Eaton over Memorial Day.

I will second that i heard from a Lagunitas rep the cases are at the distributor awaiting label approval. I also had Westified on tap at St James and i was really impressed. Will definitely be buying a couple bottles if/when they're allowed to sell it.

Nowhere yet, but are supposed to be on at least a few trucks today. If I get some this afternoon and there isn't single 4 pack limit I'll grab you one. And if there is a limit, I'll let you know where I got it so your family has a chance at one for you.

Hey fellow Ohioans, I'm getting ready to do my first non-IP trade and wanted to get input on the best/proper way to ship out of Ohio. I'm going to check the trade/shipping thread for extra details, but I figured since there was an Ohio thread, that this was a good place to ask the question. Thanks in advance everyone!

No offense at all, but this has nothing to do with a thread about beers that are new to Ohio. There is nothing unique about trading from Ohio vs. other states. You'll get better feedback in the beer trading help forum and this thread won't get locked for being off-topic! Cheers!

Somewhere from Prairie hit Dublin Whole Foods. They have a keg too!

I spoke to someone at the distributor, even given a case count. Unless there was a serious miscommunication, if i'd imagine they actually have the beer given thay they confirmed it was in waiting.

That said, I found it on draft in NKY - it was quite good, especially at that price

Last Monday (4/27), Premium Bev said, "Still in a holding pattern. Expect in the next few weeks. I will say .... its totally worth the wait."

Now that kegs popped up in Columbus for Beer Week, here's hoping that West-ified cases are sent out really soon.

Damn. Sorry about that. Could try arrow wine in Centerville. If I can snag another 4 pack does anyone want me to? BTW, it's really good and does not drink like 10.2%

I appreciate the offer, but I will track some down. I know Belmont had it today, but one 4 pack per person and it sold out in a couple of hours. The Galaxy High was great, so I have high expectations for this one too.

Confirmed with Premium folks yesterday - it's absolutely 100% a labeling issue. The bottles and kegs were labeled at 12.1% ABV. It's easy to swap out a keg collar, but requesting a bottle label variance takes longer and the state is all backed up (constipated a-holes). JJ's got a case b/c they get Monday shipments and this was before the issue was identified. The silliest thing ever is the liquid is absolutely legal - there's a .3% variance - but the dreaded number on the bottles is what our worthless Dept. of Liquor Control is all up in arms about.

Also got word that Alpine draft should hit every 2-3 months (at least at first) and there's a real possibility for bottles this summer!
