Doing the same starting today, but only attempting 2 weeks. We'll see how that goes. If it is done easily I will go another 2 weeks.

I would like to do more with homebrewing. Experiment more. Brew more in general. Only did about 3 batches last year. Already purchased my next 3 brews.

Modify by man cave/beer cellar for more efficient temp control.
Graduate to all grain brewing with my home brew
Continue to organize with my local brew buddies so we can buy more limited releases and share them with each other.
Host more bottle shares! They are great fun.

Definitely spend less on alcohol...a second kid may drastically reduce my consumable income!!!

I usually don't make them but to visit the Westvleteren cafe one more time before I die. Not beer related but to see the tulips in the Kuekenhof on the same trip and drink Dutch beer!

I resolve to spend less time in my downtown pubs drinking expensive pints and more time in the comfort of my own house drinking six-packs (cutting back on the bombers also) of the many excellent beers I can find on sale. I especially look forward to re-newing my love for my lawn chair and the backyard once warmer weather arrives.

I very much enjoy hanging around some of these pubs and eyeballing the abundance of taps available for tasting, then choosing this one and that, but damn I spent a ton of cash this past year doing just that. And I tend to be a heavy tipper to some of the bartenders, waiters/waitresses if I really like the pub.

Drinking beer doesn't need to cost the equivalent of a car or house payment per month!

    - drink down overabundant collection buy sharing

    - buy more 12oz format beers (part of the reason i have a huge collection is not very often do i want to take a 12- 15% bomber to the dome on a school night)

    - visit more breweries

it sounds unachievable but i'd love to drink all of my beer and start at zero again. nothing in the cellar. nothing in the fridge. clean slate.

    1. Go through with my plans to leave Utah that I've had for years and enroll in Culinary School in Portland.
    2. Less internet instead read and practice cooking and home brewing. Learn us much as I can.
    3. Improve my homebrew system before my father/mentor leaves to start his own Brewery in Colorado.
    4. Study German on a regular basis. I was doing great last year and took a long break. I want to get back on the horse. I however put this one last because it is my least priority and something I'm not sure I will have time for.

I hope everyone has an awesome 2014, I'm excited for this year.
