Limit my beer spending. 2013 was out of control.

My resolution is to educate the local masses and find ways to share craft beer with them in creative ways. I find the main issue is lack of exposure and style knowledge, maybe some style specific and detail oriented events can help with that.

Maybe make another beer trip like GBBF or Bamberg for a couple of days.
London, Borefts & Cologne were quite brief but pretty nice never the less.
Doing Borefts again is a no-brainer.

Last time I thought about ticking 1.000 beers, got 1.410 in 2013.
No goal set for 2014 for # tick’s. I will prob. get total to 4.000 at least.

Stop "needing" to get every seasonal and limited release. It wouldn't be a big deal if I weren't a grad student and on a limited budget.

    1. Spend less money on beer
    2. Ensure my kegs will last at least one month
    3. Check for the best price on my favorites
    4. keep an open mind to more porters and stouts (during the fall & winter months)

Constant pursuit of new beers. For some, it is simply to mark it off as a had, while others just always want to taste something different. I like to think I tick for the latter.

Cut back on weekday drinking, and use that $$$ to buy more exotic/limited releases.

Spend less money on beer and lose some of this beer belly.

P.S. This will be the same for the rest of my life so really just ignore my post.

To have fewer beers in my cellar at the end of the year than at the beginning of the year.

I hate New Years resolutions , I instead wait until about mid January and make what I call " Changes in my lifestyle"

This year...........Since I've finally realized I'm an old bastard with bad knees and I can not run anymore................Drum Roll Please..........................

1.Buy a Kayak and spend 2 hours a week in the local lake looking like a ******.\
2.Spend about 1/2 the money I did in 2013 on beer and dining out
    3.Read two books a month , pulled off 1.5 for 2013
4.Take a hell of a beercation for my 40'th , plan on Flying into Chicago , renting car and driving to Founders and hitting every brewery along the way and in between that I can
5.Remind my wife, who I have been with for a total of 11 years, more often that I love her and think she is beautiful and thankful she doesn't bitch about how much money I spend on beer

Damn I hope she checks my internet history and sees that last part.........LoL-

Drink considerably less beer. It's time to buy a house.

2015 will be different. Drink more beer, and fill said house with it.

Definitely calm down on my spending and drink what I have. I'd rather enjoy what I have while I know it's good instead of trying to enjoy it after it's fallen off.
