    You're doing it (resolutions) wrong.

    That's a goal. Not a resolution.

    Good luck anyway.

Much like many. Start home brewing. I need to buy the stuff, as the Mr Beer thing I have just won't cut it.

Brew my first 3 batches of beer and enter the 4th in a homebrew contest to see how far I've got to go to be able play with the big boys.

Also, I'm finally going to take advantage of the fact that I can drive to San Diego in about 90 minutes and be in beer heaven on any given day. Less TotalWine, more day trips south to fill my beer chest and build a stock for trading.

Reduce the cellar and start drinking more year rounders and less seasonals.

One of the great temptations when you start visiting a site like this is to become a beer completist and pick up a compulsive need to be able to discuss every beer that could possibly come up in conversation.

So my resolution is to branch out and try new beers because I'm curious about expanding my horizons, and not because I must have tasted more beers than anyone else.

This year my resolution is not to hit every release, but rather the 5 releases I truly love and stock up:
Sucaba, Parabola, FW 18, Oude Tart, and Old Jackalope.

Also more 12oz bottles for solo consumption from CW, NG, and O'So.

to try to figure out how my beer obsession get get me to score more babes.
And to make sure I only buy fresh IPAs in bottle shops. I need to pay better attention to the bottle dates.

    1. Spend less on beer
    2. trade less
    3. drink down the cellar
    4. share more beer

after this last wave of beat trades, im takinga break from the whole thing for a little bit and drink the brews ive got. The niners have done a pretty good job makign the cellar dwindle tho!

i realized today i drank a lot for xmas, but did not open any of the beers i set aside for it, need to go down tomorrow for sure!

    1) Finish trying the top 30. After next week I'll only need PtY (have plans to go to Philly), Abner, Fou Foune (got a plan), Citra and LP Kriek.
    2) Drink a bit less, buy a bit less, work out a bit more so the drinking less can be minimal.
    3) Not go broke my first year in Bruery RS.
    4) Go to more releases
    5) Keep meeting people like the fantastic people I've met in the DC beer scene this past year.
    6) Learn to homebrew. My friend makes some solid stuff, I'd love to get more of the nuance down.

    3. Make my store the best beer destination in the county

My resolution will be to home brew a spontaneously fermented wild ale in my back yard. Been wanting to do this for a while, so why not?!
