Purchase/drink like no one is watching! But seriously, going with what I know/like and isn't $$$$ instead of chasing shit because people on the internet say it's good...

Is slowing quitting this hobby an option?

Homebrewing actually got me more involved in buying beers.. Think of that alternative guys.. "Hey I brewed a red ale. How does it compare to every other red ale out there. Let's do a sampling".

    Mine are simple.
-Clear the beer fridge. I hate hoarding but I do it with beer and other things. By spring, I would love to see an empty fridge and just start fresh
-Starting fresh. LESS bombers. I went crazy with Project Dank this year. Zero regrets every time (untappd has me at 20+ check ins. I'm sure it's much higher).
-Less impulse buys. Every grocery store I would check out whats in stock. I would usually walk with a bomber or sixer.
-Stop buying obscure new beers at new breweries. I guess I could sample and just leave.. I also have a bad habit of always buying a growler wherever I am.
-I'm a sucker for a deal. Stop buying $5 six packs of just expired beers, which would normally retail for $8-$9.
-I actually want to homebrew more. Maybe create more of a variety. Usually we do two batches at a time, let them run dry, and start over. There really isnt ever a lineup. I guess I fill that lineup void with package/draft beers

If I can accomplish just half of these, i would be happy

Skip the 30 racks and stick to good beer to slim down a little. Better beer=more expensive. I won't have the money to buy volume, just greatness. Quality over quantity.

I've been trying stacks of new beers over the last few years, but haven't been immersing myself very much in the craft beer scene as I tend to be fairly introverted.

So in 2015, I think I'd like to get out to more craft beer expos (first time was Neervana last year) and perhaps start my own beer blog , since I've had so many requests for it.

Stop buying everything I see. I have to be more selective if I plan on making it to 2016.

Expand my cellar, especially by adding common beers that age well instead of just waiting to find limited releases.
Get into trading a lot more, make more beer friends and connections.

    No bombers.
OK can't do it, maybe I'll put a 2 bomber per month limit.

    1) Purchase less barrel aged stouts to save a few more dollars
    2) Pay more attention to detail on bottle dating for IPAs
    3) Trade more...

Cheers to a great year everyone!

Trim down the cellar a bit. Drink more local beers. Probably trade a bit less.

Focus on the nuances of lower abv beers...that is, quit being a high abv beer snob. Dial in homebrewing practices. Enjoy beer more fully and deliberately.
