I'm sure this has been post 13432543 times... I'm going to be in New York at the end of the month. Staying near MSG, in the Garment District. Any recommendations for bars and beer stores within walking distance of there? Also restaurant recommendations (Doesn't have to be beer related).
Hey man, I work right near MSG. There's a bunch of great places within walking distance (or should I say NYC-walking distance): Rattle n Hum - 33rd b/w 5th and Madison Ginger Man - 36th b/w 5th and Madison Pony Bar (a little far from MSG but worth the walk) - 10th ave and 45th st Beer Culture - 45th between 8th and 9th Blind Tiger is 1 train stop on the B/D line downtown (or 2 stops on the A) and well worth it, but arrive early. I'm sure others will chime in as well.
