I'm in the early stages of planning a trip to New Zealand in early December and am looking for a few good beer-centric venues to visit. If it helps, the current state of planning is "being there for about two weeks" and "spending the majority of that time on the South Island"; recommendations for anywhere in the country would be helpful at this time. I've done a first pass through the Places directory, but many of the venues (particularly outside of Auckland) have never been rated, so I assume the information there isn't particularly current.
