hey, so i had some basic questions refarding trading. first, i know there are rules about trading beer for money and booze and such, but can i trade my own home brewed beer for other beer? i'm not so much asking if people will trade ne as if it is just against the rules. i realize that the demand for this beer is likely low, but you never know. second, what if i dont know what i want? i saw the rule about "make me an offer" but the majority of beers i want are available localy. i dint know what is available in the states or the otherside of canada. last, what are extras? i assume free gifts, bottle openers, and such? typically what do you guys include in your shipments?

extras are usually just some extra bottles of beer as a surprise but can also be glassware or various brewery themed items. what i send as extras depends on how big the trade itself is but i generally try to make people excited about what im sending. ill either send quantity of good locals or a couple rarish bottles. if i feel like someone is really hooking me up in a trade then i try to go above and beyond with extras as a thankyou. in regards to homebrew, the only time ive ever seen it traded is for other homebrew but not sure on the rules around it.
