@dprice sent me a few slushies to finish out the 6 days. They were both really good, but the NeverRecover was a whole new level. Great way to finish out the week. Thanks DeShawn
Day 6 from @jschott75 22oz bomber of thick stout with plain black cap and some Hershey's milk chocolate with almonds nuggets. Chocolate, bourbon barrel, roasty dark malts and some sweetness of vanilla or marshmallow. Nice thick on the verge of chewy mouth feel. This is great but I have no idea what it is.
Day 6 reveal. Great beer, oak and char from barrel and booze opened up as it warmed. Didn't even know that this was a thing until I saw one here yesterday. Excellent collaboration. After enjoying this immensely I went to watch ND not quite beat up Louisville but a W is a W. Great Saturday thanks @jschott75
Day 6 from @Sturgeon83. Another BA stout with nice hints of vanilla, chocolate, and coconut. Very smooth. Reveal: German chocolate dark charge from Braxton Brewing. New brewery tick for me. This was great! Thanks for a great 6 days @Sturgeon83!
Day 5 from @BartS paired with sour jelly beans. This was a fantastic barrel aged saison. I got stone fruit and wine notes. SARA Normalcy with nectarine, guava, and Chardonnay lees. I enjoys this one over a couple days as it was just too good. Day 6 brought: another Bottle Logic! This was a vanilla bourbon bomb. Paired beautifully with See’s milk chocolate. This had to be FO! This years was fantastic. A great slow sipper! This was a fantastic 6 days of Cali beer! Thanks, @BartS!!
Halloween kill shot from @dprice Great variety and everything was really enjoyable. Thanks again for everything DeShawn
@jonbonfondle sent the Halloween BIF goodies to RVA! It was a great variety of different styles from the Midwest. Thanks for an awesome week! Kill shot of blinded beers
Day 6 from @Joenap419 is an elegant non-adjunct TH stout with tasty and lingering barrel: Tree House Spacetime Continuum with portion of it aged 18 months, and the complexity shows. Great beer to end this Halloween round: And it's a wrap: Thanks for taking me on this Tree House journey that started so innocuously with a 450 Slushy, haha. Also, your candy pairings were very nicely organized. This was all utterly enjoyable @Joenap419, many thanks!
Day 6 - Sugarfina Chocolate Covered Kona Beans Dark black pour, a lot of ethanol on the nose. First sip is not very good, lots of off flavor in hard alcohol. As it warms you can get some of the adjuncts underneath. The core of the beer should be very good, but this bottle is unfortunately off Reveal: Creature Comforts - Concurrence no. 6 This beer is to a T something I would love. Just unfortunately has some off flavors on it. Overall what a great fucking week from @MTKATL Family Shot: I was blown away by the generosity of @MTKATL this week was amazing. Very lucky to have him as my sender. Another good round run by @azuelke
Kill shot with candy pairings. Here's to a GREAT first BIF...and many more! Thanks, @SexualChocolate !
Day 6 came a day late for me and smelled like a glass of funky funky raspberries? The reveal made sense, long time want and very tasty! The family shot from @winehead247 , lots of fun trying some new beers buddy!
Great week of beers and he #chugs from @Dicers A large amount of Wish List items, A raspberry sour which I enjoyed a lot and a few extras (not pictured) I still need to get to. Cheers!
Late on posting the tasty beers courtesy of @beermanben sent for the Halloween round. What a great box with delicious extras (some were not saved unfortunately). Enjoyed a couple Untitled Art Stouts, a super tasty treat with R&D from New Glarus, fresh Side Project saison, CW Anniversary 22, and finished with my favorite beer of the week (if I had to choose) Fremont 11th Anniversary Stout aged in Heaven Hill barrels. Thanks for a killer week enjoying all new ticks and my first Freemont beer! You nailed the styles and mixed it up well. Still working on the massive amount of candy included, which was my wife's favorite part
Thanks @max13 for an excellent 6+ days! Great assortment of styles that were all right up my alley, not a bad beer in the bunch!
