Enjoy! That Epiphany is awesome, one of my favorite low hype beers. That small bottle of Vermot Goes great with pancakes.
It's great how the best way to get someone's address so that you can ninja them some beer... is to have a box ninja'd to you from that same person -- just as you are trying to get said info from other fellow BAs. so yea, that happened... i got these 4 red cushions ninja'd to me! ..along with a bunch of beer as extras!!! whaaaaaat! thank you to @BartS for the #CIF prize! having previously lived in CA, it's great to have some good ol cali brewskis again. ...and i'm honored to get the chance to join the ranks of all the others in this awesome lineage, and add my name among you fine folks. #17 of the #CIF!! on to the haul/pr0n... Rare Barrel - Hypnotized... want anything RB. the hours they are open have always made it difficult to get there when they are open. big fan. score! Cellarmaker - Coffee & Cigarettes... want anything CM. a yr ago, this brewery was THE standout for me, having done an 8day norcal-to-socal brewery trip.; and i was telling Bart how i am a total fanboy of this brewery, and am glad, tho few/far-between, they are bottling some. Modern Times - Mega Black House... want. this spot opened up a few months after i moved from SD, so i'm playing catchup; big fan of their beer & coffee. Russian River - Pliny the Elder... slim pickins of fresh PtE out east; ultimate classic IPA greatness. Modern Times - Fortunate Island x 2... only have had this on tap; crisp and refreshing cans for the summer warmth; yum. FW - Parabola... permawant; no further comment needed. FW - Bretta Rose... again, only have had this on tap (in buellton); glad to try again; also, trying to drink/get all the barrelworks bottles hehe Russian River - Damnation... it's been a while, but a little damning from time to time is more than welcome SARA - Cellarman... want! the one chance i had to visit SARA, they did not have bottles, so i bugged out when i saw the top/bottlecap, and bugged further out to see what it was. again...huge thanks to Bart!! ...and to all those before me who've kept this going too... [this might've been what Moses felt like when he was carrying those stone tablets] i'll be opening the #CIF up again soon... so stay tuned, friends.....
@BartS doesn't know how to send a lackluster box of beer, it seems. Jealous, but now I know what I have to beat when I eventually have those beautiful cushions grace my long-waiting porch.
Just local stuff, but thank you. All the OGs should get the cushions before the year is done if we keep rolling at a good speed. Props to @hardysf for having three consecutive trades in the hopper, which is a massively impressive feat. Great group indeed. Round 4 will be awesome. Love seeing the old timers coming back for this one - you guys made this possible for the rest of us newbies - thank you!
Awesome! I'll sponsor Adam on this round. He's a good trader and we've been going back and forth for a while with trades.
Con @beatjunkee wanted to return one of the growlers I sent him, but seems to have accidentally filled it and then included a bunch of other beer. Growler not pictured, but excited for all of it, love double duckpin, and all the others sound great!
What's up with the Boulevard Imperial Stout X series? How many have they done so far, and were they each distributed to different locations? I keep seeing Imp Stout X coconut in SF.
Wow, BLVD brewery replied to my question in a PM. That's pretty cool! For anyone else who is wondering: "Here's what we released, in the order we released them: Imperial Stout X - Coffee Imperial Stout X - Aztec Chocolate Imperial Stout X - Tart Cherry Imperial Stout X - Coconut Most should have been available in areas that you normally see our other Smokestack Series Limited Release beers." I'm going to pick myself up one of those ISX: Coconut. I've never had their stout before, but am in love with Rye on Rye. @Homebrew let me know if you want a coconut, I will grab an extra.
Looks like I'm the first Missouri guy on here. Cool!!! Glad you all like the Boulevard stuff. We make good beer here.
