I'm in leg two of my trip, still not much free time to hunt for good beer, but last night I did find the craziest thing. BCBS in Duane Reade (its the equivalent of CVS or Walgreens). WTF??! This is crazy right? I just checked my backpack and it was not a dream, they are real!

Thanks @hardysf for this great Michigan box! It took me a while to figure you out as my sender but once you said it was all barley wines and that's on my dislikes I knew. Perrin- Big Griz (you sent me the lil griz in the CIF so excited to try the big brother) New Holland- Incorrigible (white sour ale with berries) new tick sounds great Ascension- Jade and Silent Bob ( 11% rye ipa) sounds dank! Wrapped growler Wrapped bomber Oddside Ales- King of tarts( sour with apricots) probably my fav fruit for sours Brewery Vivant- Angelina (wood aged sour) new tick never heard of the brewery, excited to try Short's Brew- Strawberry Short's cake ( my wife will definitely want some of this) Bell's- 30th anniversary ( great beer) New Holland- Dragon's milk with coffee and chocolate ( always solid) New Holland- Dragon's milk triple mash ( never had this variant) Perrin- 98 problems IPA ( have only had no rules from them so excited to try the hoppy stuff) Perrin- Lotsa' problems IIPA ( another new tick) Some nice brewery stickers for the freezer! Hello Newbies! Just wanted to pop back in and say hi - I was in Round 1 (got a great box from @Bristopher89 - thanks again for all the Jester King!) but had to dial back my BIF'ing a bit and haven't participated since. With the Newbies 1-year anniversary coming up next month, I wanted to do something nice for the group. Since I can't realistically send everyone beer, I figured I'd run a LIF. To be entered, do exactly nothing. @Yourahoser has been nice enough to provide me with a list of Newbies in good standing, and I'll be drawing one name at random to send a box of local brews to. Chad will give me the winner's address, and they'll get a box the week leading up to August 27th (anniversary day). I do have one request - if you will be out of town or otherwise unable to receive a box that week (Aug 22-27) please PM me ASAP so if you win I can make other arrangements - shipping earlier / later or to a different location. I saw a number of around 10% could be infected. GI is offering a refund on bottles dated on certain dates. Dates are listed on the GI website. I would take a quick look just to see if you have anything with the dates listed.

Lots of great boxes this round, newbie newbies really brought their A-game! Winding down a long overseas trip, I've got lots of time to kill at the airport while I wait for my flight home so it's a good time to kick off a LIF. My girlfriend and I visited six countries over the span of 16 days. Tell me how many pictures we took between our three cameras and two phones. Closest guess wins, PIR rules not in effect. I'll close this down Monday at midnight and ship the following Monday. This is open to participants from all four of the newbie rounds.
