Finally getting around to this.. I received this bottle of Griffin Claw BA Imperial Stout from @jrs3994243 in the very first Newbies round and have been waiting for the right occasion to open it. I guess that occasion is now! Happy anniversary, Newbies!

Retrying this since I had issues with photos Ok, finally caught up on the thread after being up at a cabin all weekend, y'all have been busy! Bummer I missed the anniversary festivities yesterday, but I did get hit with a box from the Locals. Even though the label said that I sent it to myself, I suspect @sj3324 sent this box of PA goodies. An awesome lineup of all new ticks and a big ass chalice. A day late, but here is my cheers to the Locals. Wrapped bottle from Seth: This chalice makes me feel like a boss lol. A light colored sour, pretty solid tartness. Was going back and forth on whether this was fruited. I guessed it had some apricots in it, since it seemed like there was some fruit contributing to a high sour level. I thought this was from Intangible Ales due to seeing some getting sent around to recently and the bottle size matching. The reveal: Welp, I wrong. Pizza Boy Golden Sour from 2014! The "stone fruit" I thought I tasted was actually a combo of lemon zest and white wine. Guess my pallet is ruined from drinking so much macro beer at that cabin... Awesome beer, thanks for sending it my way@sj3324! Happy anniversary to the Newbies! So glad I found this group and the world of BIFs, it's been an amazing way to try awesome beer from around the country, crush some porches, and make a bunch of new friends!

Hey guys. I'm back! Been a crazy few weeks. Had my best friend down from DC and we ate and drank nearly everything in Austin, then he was my official photographer when I proposed to my now-fiancee. Then Sarah and I moved in to a new place across town that's wayyyyy closer to the better beer bars in Austin. As in blocks away. This is gonna be a problem. Anywho, sorry I missed the anniversary this weekend but I definitely was with you guys in spirit as we had a share where we drank every JK fruited sour (and then lots of other beers as well). Cheers and Beers!
Also shout out to @Doogflaggat and @Greeny87 for their boxes in the last couple weeks that gave me things to stress drink while packing up our house for the move. I forgot to take pics but they sent some damn goodies!
Damn @wheelzntoys decided to just drop the MF hammer on me! Box 2 was totally unnecessary given box 1 but he brought the thunder again.
