What are some good beers to trade??

I heard that alot of Americans are into the '3 Fonteinen' beers, the 'Ouden Geuze' and the 'Oude Kriek'
Can someone help me with this, if this is true or not??
Someone said, i can get ANY beer for trading this.

    Thanks in advance.

3 Fonteinen stuff is indeed popular, and some of their beers are highly sought after (some less so, due to increasing and improved distribution of their beer here in the states). What I would recommend, is to run a topic search in the trading forum (3 fonteinen would be the topic) to get an idea what folks are looking for, and what sort of trade goods are being offered up to obtain those beers.

    Good luck.

Only partially true. 3F beers are desirable, but most of the time people won't want to trade, especially shipping international, for shelfie 3F (OG and Oude Kriek that you mentioned). These shelfies can typically be purchased on Belgian beer sites, not having to worry about trading. That said, these shelf 3F make good trade expansions.

3F (Hommage, Framboos, OG Vintage, Zenne, etc.) and Cantillon (Fou Foune, LPF, LPG, St.Lam, etc.) seasonals are your tickets to trading. These are limited availability and usually sell out quickly. Keep an eye on your local bottle shops or Cantillon/3F forum threads and make your drive to Brussels when the beers become available. Even with these limited beers, you still won't be able to trade for "ANY beer". There are many beers here that are highly sought after and usually those with such bottles will not want to risk international trading. Still, with seasonal lambic from 3F and Cantillon, you will be able to trade for a lot of very good beer.

I talked today to an American guy via Instagram, and he said that Cantillion is very much wanted.
So, maybe i get my hands onto some Cantillion, and hopefully trade it with some Monkish stuff or some else American craft beer, that a Dutch man can't get his hands on

Again, it all depends on which Cantillon. Grab a bunch of shelfie Cantillon with the intention to trade international for fresh IPA (or pretty much any beer), you'll probably end up being stuck with them. Most traders only go international for big beer, and after they've done a fair bit of trading already. The high cost of shipping international for shelfies makes it very unattractive.
