Hey Folks -- I am interested in getting a kegerator for my house and have been trolling craigslist for a good deal. I am wondering what questions I should be asking people and if I do decide to go take a look at a unit what should I look out for? I would try to work him down to $600-$700 on that unit. First thing is missing drain grat on drip pan. Probably $80. Also I see 3 faucets and one line. ? But if your interested in any used kegerator. Have them plug unit in with a 5 gal bucket of water in it 24hr prior to looking at. And bring your own probe therm to check water temp in bucket.. That unit should be 36F roughly with tstat set at 5-6.If its cranked all the way up and barley holding 40.It has issues. If it needs recharging or has ever been recharged. Walk!!!
