When a generous ( or very smart) BA is cellar cleaning and wants a label sent, what is he expecting?

A complete, pre-paid UPS or FedEx label to slap on the box and ship beer to the payer (who has an online UPS and/or FedEx acct).

Thanks for info, one more dumb question. Am I sending a physical label by snail mail, or is there a way to send be email?

It depends. Sometimes they want you to send a box first with a label inside.

If I were to make such an offer, I would expect you to email me a PDF from your Fedex/UPS account which you have pre-paid. Said label would have your address as the destination. I would print it out, slap it on the box and ship it out. That way, you get beer for the cost of the shipping charges.

Not that I'm making such an offer, mind you.

So a PDF copy on box will be accepted by FedEx/UPS? I would need box weight, size and sender zip?

You would need the box size/weight. Not necessarily the senders zip. I know when another BA sent me a box and I was sending him the label he had me put in my address as both sender and receiver

They will calculate a shipping cost based on the size and weight of the box, and then will correct the amount actually charged to your account when it is shipped, if I'm not mistaken
