I know the can says " heat may vary". I have only had 2 6- packs but they were way different. What is your experience?

Two new to out area IPAs, Alesmith IPA and Alpine Nelson. As far as local options, I have been enjoying Pocahoptus from Center of the Universe and Missile from Champion Brewing as "go to" options.

Recently tried Boulevard's Calling IPA for the first time and really liked it (not that I'm surprised), but I don't know that the price and format facilitates it being a go-to. Similar story with the Brewmaster Jack Mosaic IPL.

Now that Wicked weed is bottling Pernicious, it has been my go to. I haven't been without some in my fridge since they first released bottles. Damn I love that beer.

In Michigan...51k and Nordskye, both from Blackrocks, and both in cans. Nice.

HabaƱero Sculpin is a hell of a go-to! But it is delicious. I've had some that was medium-hot and some that were almost like being pepper sprayed a la Stone Crime and Punishment. A large part of the reason the heat varies depends on when the peppers were grown. Peppers grown in hot weather will have more heat than those grown when it is cooler. Btw, try a half and half of grapefruit and habaƱero sculpin, it's pretty great.

My new go-tos are Monday Night Blood Orange IPA and Orpheus Life.Death.Life.Truth. Both are exceptional, but only available in GA.

Do you now? Is that why I can never find any? Because of your sticky hands?

Some bottles were pretty fiery, others were basically slightly hot bell pepper IPA's. Delicious either way imo but I like the ones that really burn the most.

Haha I know Belmont station got a large allotment but sold out within a day or so on a 2 4pk limit. Got my 2 from there. Orher than Tin Bucket, Belmont and Bailey's, I'm not sure who else in Portland got the first batch of cans. I've heard the following releases will be large distribution. I think the hype cleared the shelves quickly. But should be new batches every few weeks now

Hop Nosh flies so far under the radar sometimes, and it's really a stellar beer. One of the first really hoppy beers I ever had. It's delicious and damn good for the price and availability.

Right now I'd have to say Electric Peel from Magic Hat not a bad grapefruit IPA and half the price of grapefruit sculpin.

My first sip of Hop Diggity was eye opening. Had it 3 days old from the can and drank like fruit juice.
