I will be in Newport, RI the last week in June. I'm looking for some killer bottler shops or liquor stores that would have a decent beer selection. I'm also heading up to Trillium one day. Looking for liquor stores heading up that way too. Also, can anyone recommend some decent breweries in that area besides Trillium? Thanks in advance!
Im interested in the responses for bottle shops in Newport, RI area. Heading to Jamestown next weekend. Breweries that are reasonably close to Newport Proclimation Tilted Barn - although they may be closed next Saturday. Beer'd (on your way if you coming up 95) Grey Sail (see above) Breweries close to Trillium Canton location Castle Island - they are putting out some really nice beers at a great price point, highly recommended! Best bottle shop within about a half hour is the Yankee Spirits in Swansea (they almost always have local stuff like Trillium and Night Shift). In Newport your best bet is probably Bridge Liquors. It's a pretty small store but they cram as much into it as they can.
