I am sorry. I should have said it was a rumor I heard instead of fact.

    LOL!

Most people normally say something along the lines of "I heard so and so..." when they are quoting a rumor.

I have never been to the new Target Field. What other breweries are there who are on draft?

Russian River, Lost Abbey, Cantillon, and HF just to name a few. Great selection, imo.

I'm at Target Field right now enjoying a Dark Lord with my good friends Johnny Depp and Yoda.

Good beer really isn't hard to find at Target Field. There are several Summit carts and several Mn Brew carts on the main concourse. Also, if I'm not mistaken, most of the "bars" in Target Field carry Summit as well. The Town Ball Tavern has Fulton IPA, that's the only place there that I know of that has it.

Had a Bandwagon last night. Excellent. More bitter, less flavor, which is what I usually get (& like) from Centennials, for whatever reason.

And all you fair-weather fans, stay away from Target Field, it'll mean the line is shorter!

I'll be the first to shamelessly admit that I'd check out a game this season solely to taste test the new brew. :grinning:

I heard the International Trappist Association is negotiating a deal to be the official monastic brewing association of the Twins. It will be nice to have Orval and Westy on tap. And they're going to have their official mascot "Malty the Monk" race the Target dog, Schweigert weiner, and TC Bear between innings. I just hope they can come up with the $40k for the cart.

The problem is that I am out of town for work. I use the concessions as my dinner and only have one card swipe. None of the concessions with food have good taps (it's usually Bud Light and Golden Wheat). I found the Surly cart tonight and had a Bandwagon, which was a bitter tongue bruiser. Also had a Bender, which was delicious as always. Both were very much enjoyed and I would say the two best beers I have had at a stadium to date.

I will say, Target Field has good choices. It's just tough to find the good beer at the same location as the food. First World problem on my hands here.

Had a bandwagon yesterday while watching the twins lose. Got it before the first pitch so the line wasn't bad at all.

Pretty good price considering ballpark prices, 16oz cans of Grain Belt were more, and the big 24oz cans of Corona were even more than that.

Pretty damn tasty IPA. Since the beer the wife most associates with Surly is Furious, and Bandwagon is also pretty hoppy, she said it "Smelled like Surly"

went to the rained out game today, got 2 bandwagons while waiting, first time I walked right up, second time I had to wait about 1 minute, this beer is totally awesome and worth waiting for.
