Next DC Bottle Share - Sunday, December 9

    Okay all,

    Based on feedback, I'm going to set Sunday, December 9 as the next date for a bottle share.

    Smoke and Barrel, downstairs bar. 18th and Columbia Road in Adams Morgan.

    4:30 p.m.

    $5 wings. It would be greatly appreciated if everyone could order something - a beer, wings, a bourbon etc. Everyone was great about this at the last tasting. Everything else - glassware, clean-up, etc, etc. is provided.

    2 bombers or 4 12 oz. bottles per person. Please RSVP on this thread what you plan to bring. Looking forward to it again!

    Definitely interested. Will save the date. I'll post an update to confirm along with what I plan to bring a bit closer to the date.

    Given the success of the first event, definitely looking forward to it. Might need to take a cab this time given how the bar reoriented itself when I stood up last time.

    Thanks again for taking the lead. Really appreciate it.

    I can't make that date, too much going on with holiday, birthdays (mine more importantly :grinning: ) and travel for myself, so you gang all have a blast and I'll look to another one in 2013!

    Ha! Was fortunate to recently get some Zombie Dust via trade. Was considering saving some for the bottle share, but since you've got that covered, I guess I have no choice but to finish them off. Well, the fresher the better for that beer. Cheers!

    It looks like I am in, after all. I will be celebrating my birthday that weekend, so a bottle share is just what the doctor ordered. I have a 2008 and a 2011 vintage of ST backburner I can bring for comparison. Depending on an upcoming visit to souther n va I might get ahokd of some foothills stuff

    Any interest in a four year vertical of Anchor Xmas or is that too pedestrian? Lots of other goodies I can supplement with.
