yeah, no way to make that run. I did a Firestone Krieky/Bretta release and then Modern Times anniversary party and got there around 5:30.

It'll be about 3x more busy than Krieky, but with food. Which isn't a bad thing at all.

the description for Feral One's food offerings was

And they didn't run out and kept them coming out fast, hot and exotic. I mean, that was some unique eats.

So yeah, it qualifies as food. Unless something you eat no longer is the definition of "food"

This next release they're telling you to leave the bottle sharing beer at home.

While it was nice to try a few things in line for the last few releases, it was getting a bit.... well, show me yours before I show you mine. One fella kept on walking right past some folks saying "Sorry, gotta take care of my instagram followers" while still putting his cup out when were pouring our eclipse and a few others. like... um... okay?

Besides, not like there isn't going to be your fill of alcohol inside. So nothing really lost here.

Have no issues with this. If it was legal they'd be all for it, out of their control.

The motorcycle cops kept cruising around the parking lot, and eyeballing everyone during the Feral One release. No doubt trying to see if anyone had open containers. It didn't help matters much that many people left their empty bottles littered on the sidewalk after the event started.

Is anyone going to line up for this? Or have they in the past? As excited as I am to get these bottles, only half of them will be sold if everyone maxes out on their allocations. Have any of the draught beers run out in the past? Was planning a bottle share up until I got the email so now I'm wondering if there's any reason to show up early.

There is exactly zero reasons to get there before the time on the ticket unless you really really want to just wait in a line and talk to friends or something... which could be done in the luxury of inside in the AC once the event starts.

I have not seen the draught beers run out at events and been to all of them. Not to mention it's not a big pour, and they have barrels and barrels of stuff, so I'm sure they plan ahead according to the number of attendees as well as how much of the beer they have before putting it on.

There is reason to stay till the end, as that's when they have opened up 3L bottles of Krieky Bones in the past event.

But yeah, no reason to get there earlier now that there's a ticket in your inbox/hand. (Feral One was pay at door and thus, getting there early was to make sure you got in)

Yup no reason to show up early, cause I didn't hear they are releasing another special bottle for the first 20+ people or so in line. No reason at all...

For serious? Are you just some sort of line fetishest (you know, you get off watching people wait in line)? Cuz... there will now be a line. And I might be in it :grimacing:

The size of the bottle rhymes with free critters. I heard it through the grape vine though, so not sure how accurate that info might be.

Looks like I wont get a free critters if it is first come first served or if they're even doing it. No biggie. I'll enjoy getting there at my leisure.

For the record, the rumor that the next Barrelworks release will have some special beer only for the first 20 people who enter, is completely false. Firestone-Walker would never run an event like that. There will be two beers released, Agrestic and Feral Vinifera, and a host of rare tastes, for all those who purchased a ticket. Everyone who attends will have equal access to the beers being release. Cheers!
