Plums fermented over Sour Opal if I heard correctly. It was quite loud to hear correctly.

From everything I heard, Nope. there wasn't enough for anything more than the allocation of everyone going there so it's not going to be put on the shelf at Barrelworks tomorrow and just being held back for random fridge filling/event popping.

Not to rub salt, but man, SLO was tasting amazing on draft, I want to hold off on opening a bottle, but I can't imagine how much better it'll be out of the bottle. Holy shit, today's line up.

Drupe Bones was amazing, Maltose Falcon was good, but you could taste every part of that 11% abv. The Galsten (sp?) was really great as well. Jeffers & Company really out did themselves today. It was an amazing event.

Was interesting to see "#BEERCLUB2015!?" written up on the wall. Interesting to see what that might turn into, I guess we should keep an eye out on that hash tag.

^Heard they were thinking of doing a frequent flyer club sort of thing. Either way, having been to all these releases, I'm game for Feral One.2 in Feb.

Also, saw 2-4 barrels of PNC behind the Sour Saucer/Bones/Merlin pour station. Guess that's making a come back.

really, how many tickets were sold for this one? with the 12 bottle max and I believe 500 cases i might be wrong.. they usually have plenty to sell after for a week or two. I know they stash away cases for events and stuff but if this is the case with none being sold tomorrow Im gonna be one unhappy camper!

They didn't have enough to send up to Paso, so that is at least one sign that the supply isn;t there for this release.

Seemed to be the same amount of people to me as the others. They even moved the bottle pickup outside and opened up that back area and it seemed full with people to me..

^^ I think that's a good indication that they fit in an easy 50 or so more folks into this one since they freed up that whole back area.

Something along the lines of it didn't produce as many bottles as they thought it would. So take that for what its worth. They specifically said that they weren't going to be able to put bottles up for sale at BW tomorrow.

That was my first BW release and they really do a fantastic job. Hats off to them.

I spotted a barrel or two of Sour DDBA. Curious how that one will turn out.

Of the releases I've been to this was my favorite by far. SLOambic was awesome. Possibly my favorite sour of theirs to date (but I'm a sucker for tart and fruity). I didn't expect to like El Gourdo (almost pretraded 2 of my 3) and it was excellent. Both Krieky Merlin and Drupe Bones were great. Missed Sour Saucer. :-(

Overall it made me really hopeful for a club/society next year. The worst part of the releases is the 3 hour drive up. I'd love to be able to get a bunch of FW beer but get to drive up when it makes more sense to do a long weekend with the wifey.

    Good times.

What did you think of the Pomegranate seeds?

Really liked the Nacimiento, the Maltose, and the sour saucer full of secrets.

Did not get to try the Drupes Bones - Fxxk!

The fruit used for SLOambic was Ollalieberries from San Luis Obispo. Apparently the yield of fruit was lower than anticipated so they couldn't make too much. This meant no extra bottles.

I think Gestalt was my favorite today, but I really enjoyed everything they had on. Just missed out on Drupe Bones, unfortunately. I'm very interested to see how the beer club will work.
