Yeah as others have mentioned, if you have two people going and don't want all the bottles, there are plenty of people who would take some off your hands. Myself included.

This is why we can't have nice things. We just turned this into a pick-it-up-for-me-brah.

And here I was hoping to land dem prop and 'nilla whales with this feral beast.

Wouldn't be Cali if we weren't devaluing our own beers.

If you want to view a serious "pick-it-up-for-me-brah"-fest check out El Cerrito Liquors Instagram post on Pappy Board Meeting

We just have too many options here in CA. If there would be just Barrelworks & Bruery in SoCal, things would be a lot different. And I don't think it would be better. But yeah, El Cerrito is always fun  It feels like there are thousand unemployed beer drinkers within 2 miles radius from the store.

Also, doesn't it always say the taproom/restaurant will be closed to the public? Seems like the there are always all sorts of people in the restaurant not there for the release.
Sometimes it's only about the beer and enjoying it and not maintaining/inflating trade values. For me, it comes down to establishing good trading partners...then you don't have to worry about values, just $4$.

While I wasn't being completely serious in that, and I also value established trade partners, the commentary was more to the point that the thread devolved into a beg fest of "hey, who's going so I can give you money in exchange for your beer."

We're creating... well, I mean, not like they didn't exist already, but internet mules is probably what caused SLOambic's event to sell out within the day. A whole lot of people who originally weren't going to go, but since some benefactor was paying for their beer, they decided to mule it up.

I understand the situation where you don't want to plop down another 12 bottles for your +1, and being V-day, this is catered to having your S.O. with you to share the day with, but selling off your shares will only spiral this crazy train off the rails all that much faster.

Although I dont mind helping people if they want beer they cant get, I guess I should apologize for starting the #pickitupformebro.

It's disappointing Lost Abbey would hookup a store that I consistently read people talking about being price gouged on here.

If it is anything like their TAPS collabs, they are probably the ones that supplied the barrels.

They probably do, but that's not saying it isn't a hookup. They're making money on this, they're drawing buzz to their store and it's bringing in 300+ customers to buy more than just these bottles.

At $30 a pop for the Pappy Board Meeting I think I'll pass.

They had it at Barrel Night. It was alright, but I wouldn't pay $30 for it. I love Pappy, but I'm not big on Pappy aged beers.

Just following up on the topic of breakfast burritos. There is a place called "Burrito Loco" that is in close proximity to Barrelworks. It's located on McMurray Road on the south side of Highway 246 in the Buellton Town Center. Their menu can be viewed here: http://burritolocobuellton.com/cs/Satellite?blobcol=urlfile&blobheader=application/pdf&blobheadername1=Content-Disposition&blobheadervalue1=inline;+filename=menu-876.pdf&blobkey=id&blobtable=Document&blobwhere=1301447338770&ssbinary=true&moddate=2012-12-11 10:41:59

Though, if it's like Feral One's release last year, you really won't need to pregame it with food as the offerings there that day were off the chain.

Bathroom line is about to be the longest line at the event

I'm not expecting food on the level of Feral One, the food at their events has gotten progressively worse

it dipped and then it got better. But the whole "feral" aspect stretches to the food for "Feral bites" meaning it's going to be wild game again.
