Truth. I did about the same thing! Sadly other obligations prevent me from attending this release, so I'll have to hope bottles will be left over after.

I wonder if you can buy other bottles this day? If so, I further wonder if the admission ticket includes 4 bottles and then you can buy more if you want?

mayhaps. I mean, they'll have DDBA. I'm sure there's still some bottles of Bretta Rose in the fridge.

Think Feral One and Bretta Rose are gone, Lil Opal is probably still around

So is this going to be a full on party with free pours? I thought the Bretta Rose release was going to have free pours. They said "they'll have all the barrel aged beers you can drink". One look at the tasting room during the release I knew I wasn't getting any. That room was jam packed with people trying to buy tasters. Nobody wanted to leave the room once they even got their glass. They just got right back in line. I ended up coming back in 2 hrs. to try what's on tap.

Lil Opal wasn't very good. Maybe it will age well?

I got there early, stood in line a long time, got my bottles, saw the looong line and left.

I'm assuming this time the pours will be free, and the lines will be less horrible, thanks to the pre-ticket system? Otherwise, why would anyone spend $60 for ~$48 worth of beer—and not particularly well-reviewed beer at that? I'm still on the fence about whether to buy a ticket... 90% of the reason I'm seriously considering is the statement "A special little secret may be uncorked as well" from their press release.

If there is a question if Bretta Weisse would be available in Paso after the 12th, I'd be surprised if this one made it up there at all. Looks like the first letter that's blurred out is a "K", so I believe the Krieky Bones name someone commented on Jim's post.
